A 12 track leftfield/idm album (1h 4m 46s) — released August 23rd 2010 on Electunes
Enne made his musical debut in 1977 at the age of 14, DJing Sunday afternoons and Saturday evenings at his local youth dancing school in his hometown Innsbruck, Austria. He then played drums in a local rock band until the summer of 1983. This was the year that brought about a change. While clubbing at Lake Garda in Italy, DJ Enne got absorbed with the afro-funky-cosmic-disco sound. He was so caught by this wild-style mixture of jazz, funk, fusion, krautrock, space disco and Brazilian rhythms, he quit drumming and started his own DJ career as a resident at the Galaxy Club back home. DJ gigs all over Europe followed and he continues to DJ today. At the end of the 80s, Enne began delving into music production. In the last ten years, he has produced tunes and remixes for labels such as Bikini, Innvision, Compost, Permanent Vacation, Tirk, Nang, Jalapeno, to mention but a few. In addition to this, a bunch of tracks have been licensed for compilations, such as Brazilectro, FM4 Soundselection, Timewarp inc. etc. The album "The Groove Collage" in cooperation with Ed Royal came out in March 2007. The first-ever solo album of DJ Enne, CHAMELEONIC tells an unconventional story containing extracts of the music which influenced him during the past 30 years. It features a lot of different styles and offers a large variety of electronic and organic music - a bit of funk here, a taste of pop there, a little dub, some space disco, electronica and jazz. No matter where you listen to it, whether it's in the car, your private living room, with headphones on the road or at your favorite club, you'll never get bored. All songs, arrangements, keyboard instruments, timbales, synthesizer, rhodes and piano solo parts, plus several lyrics and vocals, have been written, produced and performed by chameleonic Enne! Special appearances for vocals include Sophie Barrezeele, Nicola Neumann, Inga Fetzberger, Martin "Sugar-B" Forster, Chris Martinek, and last but not least our charming Mr. Felix Neuenhoff!
